Hi, my name is Kristen and have a currently a Special education teacher in Utah. I have had experience with kids of all different ages, from kindergarten through post high school (ages 18-21). I am currently in my 6th year of teaching and I love my job. I am always looking for ways to help my students both in and out of the classroom. One comment I have heard
frequently from parents is “What am I supposed to do with my kids during the summer months to keep them learning continuously?” and their concern that their child will lose what that child has learned in school over that 3 month break. I am trying to address of
those things simultaneously. This website is here to help parents with provided supports and to give ideas on what they can do at home, in addition to the services of an in home tutor or the option to have their child come to a group session over the summer.
